Since we cannot physically travel right now, I am starting a series called "Sippin' Around the World with Sarah" so that you can travel to far off countries just by sipping some wine on your couch!
Each week I will be taking you through an international wine, answering fun facts about the region, winemaking techniques, and best of all tasting the lovely variety!
If a particular wine sounds especially yummy to you, I will provide links on how you can buy the wine for yourself at home! This week I am sippin' on a German Riesling! Check out the video below!

Sarah this was great. I had no idea that the the Rheingau is what it is because of the heat retaining slate soil. Very interesting! I remember evenings in Germany sitting by the Rhein River Near Rüddelsheim or Biebrich sipping fresh Riesling.
Until I watched your video on wines around the world I had always thought German Riesling’s were sweet. Now I know better and will have fun going to our German market selecting a Riesling with my newfound knowledge you have provided. Will look forward to pairing it with our favorite take out Indian food! Love this series and can’t wait to see where you take us next!
